Digestion & Nutrition Essentials – £249

Your Digestion & Nutrition Essentials package can help identify common causes of digestive problems. These include IBS, Crohn’s disease, gluten and lactose intolerance, H Pylori infection and more.

All packages also include an annual GP helpline available 24/7 to give you added peace of mind after your screening.

The majority of digestive problems can be attributed to your lifestyle, stress, or the foods you eat.  But it’s useful to check there’s nothing going on behind the scenes which could cause bloating, stomach pain or diarrhoea. This package includes test for common, and frequently undiagnosed, conditions. These include lactose and gluten intolerance, IBS, Crohn’s disease and H Pylori infection. Although your GP may need to investigate further, these tests are a good starting point to help ascertain the health of your digestive system and gut.  You’ll be given full preparation instructions prior to your appointment. But it’s important to point out that to ensure accurate results for the lactose and gluten intolerance tests, you’ll need to keep both lactose and gluten in your diet in the weeks leading up to your appointment.

*Full price based on purchasing tests individually. Discount applied for purchasing tests as a package.

All our tests have been specially designed to be convenient and non-invasive. Once you’ve booked your appointment, full preparation instructions will be provided in your confirmation email or letter. You can continue to eat and drink normally before your appointment, and you’ll also remain fully clothed throughout.

The test can help differentiate between inflammatory and non-inflammatory bowel diseases, helping distinguish between IBS and IBD.
Also called a Haematology Profile, your full blood count includes 13 readings including white blood cells, red blood cells and a platelet count.
Includes a blood test for the transglutaminase antibody, which is highly predictive of a gluten intolerance.
Find out if you could be lactose intolerant with our simple and convenient self-collection stool acidity sample kit.
Includes a simple blood test to check for a Helicobacter Pylori infection, a strong risk factor for ulcers and stomach cancers.
Includes a simple blood test for Omega 3 and 6, giving your result as a ratio.
As part of your Bluecrest Health Screening package, you get 1 Year’s free access to our GP Helpline Service. The service provides 24/7 telephone access to a GP 365 days a year and is intended to be helpful for all manner of health issues during the course of a year – from tummy upsets through to travel advice.
