Core – £169

Your Core package builds on the Active package, giving a greater insight into the health of your vital organs. The package also gives you important information about conditions affecting the blood such as leukaemia and anaemia, as well as general insight into the function of your immune system.

All packages also include an annual GP helpline available 24/7 to give you added peace of mind after your screening.

Building on the Active package, the Core package provides you with a more detailed overview of your heart health and stroke risk, with the addition of a lung function check for COPD and a haematology profile (full blood count). People with COPD are at a higher risk of developing lung cancer, but a lung function test can help detect COPD before any symptoms become apparent. The haematology profile gives a greater insight into common blood disorders including anaemia, haemophilia, blood clots and blood cancers like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. For a more in-depth analysis of your cardiovascular health, our Complete package also includes a check for Peripheral Arterial Disease, a PLAC test and a GP consultation for additional peace of mind.

*Full price based on purchasing tests individually. Discount applied for purchasing tests as a package.

All our tests have been specially designed to be convenient and non-invasive. Once you’ve booked your appointment, full preparation instructions will be provided in your confirmation email or letter. You can continue to eat and drink normally before your appointment, and you’ll also remain fully clothed throughout.

Your test will use a device called a sphygmomanometer which will be attached to your upper arm to measure your blood pressure.
Your non-invasive body scan examines your fat levels, hydration, muscle and bone mineral mass, giving you a good overview of your body composition.
Also called a Haematology Profile, your full blood count includes 13 readings including white blood cells, red blood cells and a platelet count.
Also called Metabolic Syndrome, your assessment includes a full cholesterol check, diabetes test, blood pressure test and body composition scan.
Your heart rhythm check will help you understand more about the rhythm of your heart and the electrical impulses that keep it beating in time.
Your simple COPD test involves blowing into a tube connected to a specialist device called a Vitalograph.
The test examines blood pressure differences between your upper arm and lower ankle - also known as the ABPI test.
Your liver and kidney check includes a blood test to check your levels of Aspartate Transferase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Alkaline Phosphate (ALP), Gamma GT, Bilirubin, Sodium, Urea and Creatinine. You’ll also get a reading for your eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), used to ascertain how efficiently and effectively your kidneys are working.
Your type 2 diabetes check measures the level of glucose in your blood to help identify any irregularities. Your cholesterol check, or lipid panel, gives you 5 key readings including LDL (“bad” cholesterol), HDL (“good” cholesterol), triglycerides, total cholesterol and HDL/total cholesterol ratio. Around half a million people in the UK have undiagnosed diabetes, and over 50% of UK adults have high cholesterol.
Includes blood tests for calcium, corrected calcium and phosphate to check your bone, muscle and nerve health, together with general health markers including albumin, globulin, iron, protein and uric acid.
As part of your Bluecrest Health Screening package, you get 1 Year’s free access to our GP Helpline Service. The service provides 24/7 telephone access to a GP 365 days a year and is intended to be helpful for all manner of health issues during the course of a year – from tummy upsets through to travel advice.
