With a focus on cardiovascular health and stroke risk, your Active package bundles together some of our popular basic individual health checks into a complete and affordable package.

All packages also include an annual GP helpline available 24/7 to give you added peace of mind after your screening.

Doctor Cullimore says “This package is a good entry-level health MOT.  It covers a range of areas relevant for males and females who want a general overview of their heart health and stroke risk. You’ll receive over 50 key readings covering heart, liver, kidneys, stroke risk, blood clots right the way through to iron, calcium, cholesterol and glucose levels, highlighting any risk areas before they become problematic. On top of the blood tests and body composition analysis, the package also includes an ECG check for atrial fibrillation.  This is a common condition which can increase your risk of stroke up to 5 times. If you’re looking for a general set of baseline tests, this package is for you. If you’re looking for a more comprehensive package with additional cardiovascular health tests, you may want to consider the Core and Complete packages.”

*Full price based on purchasing tests individually. Discount applied for purchasing tests as a package.

All our tests have been specially designed to be convenient and non-invasive. Once you’ve booked your appointment, full preparation instructions will be provided in your confirmation email or letter. You can continue to eat and drink normally before your appointment, and you’ll also remain fully clothed throughout.

Your test will use a device called a sphygmomanometer which will be attached to your upper arm to measure your blood pressure.
Your non-invasive body scan examines your fat levels, hydration, muscle and bone mineral mass, giving you a good overview of your body composition.
Your heart rhythm check will help you understand more about the rhythm of your heart and the electrical impulses that keep it beating in time.
Also called Metabolic Syndrome, your assessment includes a full cholesterol check, diabetes test, blood pressure test and body composition scan.
The test examines blood pressure differences between your upper arm and lower ankle - also known as the ABPI test.
Your liver and kidney check includes a blood test to check your levels of Aspartate Transferase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Alkaline Phosphate (ALP), Gamma GT, Bilirubin, Sodium, Urea and Creatinine. You’ll also get a reading for your eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), used to ascertain how efficiently and effectively your kidneys are working.
Your type 2 diabetes check measures the level of glucose in your blood to help identify any irregularities. Your cholesterol check, or lipid panel, gives you 5 key readings including LDL (“bad” cholesterol), HDL (“good” cholesterol), triglycerides, total cholesterol and HDL/total cholesterol ratio. Around half a million people in the UK have undiagnosed diabetes, and over 50% of UK adults have high cholesterol.
Includes blood tests for calcium, corrected calcium and phosphate to check your bone, muscle and nerve health, together with general health markers including albumin, globulin, iron, protein and uric acid.
As part of your Bluecrest Health Screening package, you get 1 Year’s free access to our GP Helpline Service. The service provides 24/7 telephone access to a GP 365 days a year and is intended to be helpful for all manner of health issues during the course of a year – from tummy upsets through to travel advice.
